1) Rayon fibred cloth

The rayon fibre weaved kente is the least valuable and much cheaper than original or authentic Kente.

2) Cotton weaved

This kind of kente is weaved from cotton fibres. Cotton weaved cloth is moderately cheaper than the most expensive Kente but it still holds better value than the cheapest (rayon) by far. It is a better alternative for anyone who does not want to spend too much but wants reasonably good value for their Kente cloth.

3) Silk weaved
This is the finest Kente and is made from silk fibres. Traditionally this was the kind of cloth that was made exclusively for the chiefs and kings of Ghana. It is not commonly used as it is expensive but it is by far the best Kente in terms of quality and is still accessible for those who can afford.
