Treasure Memories With a Great All-In-One Camcorder

Memories are truly something special, and should really be treasured. I remember my 10th birthday where no one could break open the hanging pony with all the yummy treats and coins in there but when it was my turn to be blind folded, I was the one who was able to break it with a strong hit from my baseball bat. But then again, part of that memory which I failed to recall was that my dad was actually the one helping me hold the baseball bat and hitting the pony hard.

I would have really loved to relive all those memories and feel the goose bumps and tickling all over my body watching my grandmother dance her dance again, but then camcorders were just too much of a luxury item for my family that time.

Thinking about my youth, reminded me that my son’s 5th birthday party was fast approaching, and how this would be a great opportunity to capture his special day on film. Come to think of it, I could also share my son’s special day with any relatives that wouldn’t be able to make it on the day, by uploading the videos to Facebook.

So I decided to shop from an online store that offers high quality gadgets and other techie stuff. I found this great camcorder (Sanyo camcorder). The camcorder came with some great features as well, like its 30 x optical zoom as this enabled me to get some great close ups of my son’s face. I wanted to capture my son’s facial expressions in detail every time he would laugh or smile. It had high definition of the images it was taking. It enhances the subject of the picture by adjusting the focus, exposure and color of the recording. For instance, if images are blurred, it adjusts to clarify it. If the exposure is quite dark, the contrast is adjusted to make it brighter. And when the color of the subject’s skin seems too pale, it adjusts to make your skin appear as it is in real life.

It did not lag when it was processing images. With 4 megapixels for image resolution and 2.3 mega pixels for dual recording, on the day the camcorder performed great, if felt comfortable in my hand. I surely got the features that I wanted in this all-in-one camcorder

Of course, now that I am not so busy anymore, I have had the luxury of time to watch the home videos of my son’s birthday and all other events I recorded the days following. I purchased another all-in-one camcorder as well, a Xacti TH1 High definition camcorder, this time as a gift for my brother who is far away. With its TH1s MPEG4/H.264 recording format, it will be easier for him to upload without having to resize the file to fit and share it on Facebook or YouTube without hassles for all of us to enjoy watching.
