Reading affiliate marketing reviews is very important when buying anything that could help your online business. You don’t want to waste your time and money in purchasing something that doesn’t deliver what you’ve paid for. In this article I’m going to share with you the things that I do when looking for real and genuine reviews on marketing products.
Basic Online Search – First thing is to do a basic online search for the product. For example if I’m interested in joining Wealthy Affiliate then I would plug in the keywords “wealthy affiliate review”. Most of the time I would read every result in the first page and might even look at the second page for more information.
I would still be cautious though because there some affiliates who are just writing good stuff just to get you to buy what they’re promoting. They would even offer you an insane amount of bonuses just to make your decisions are easier even if they haven’t really tested the product yet. If you’re still looking for more validation then the next step might help you out.
Visit Forums – Next thing that I would do is look for member’s discussions about the product. Reading forums is good because most of the time the members give out their unbiased thoughts about a certain product. I’m generally skeptical and if the basic online search for reviews is too good to be true then checking out forum discussions is the next step.
You can do this step fairly easily with Google by clicking on the discussions link on the left side. Most of the time you’ll see what people really think especially if a product is already out for some time now. You can still use this method even if the product isn’t yet released. Most of the time the gurus would send out review copies to fellow marketers and you can use the information from their testimonials on what they think about the product.
Look out for emails – This tip is mostly for a product that’s about to be launched. I’m subscribed to a few of the marketers I’m looking up to and sometimes they would sent out promotional emails for a product that’s going to be released soon. It’s advisable that you shouldn’t subscribe to so many marketers. I suggest that you only follow those people who continue to give you valuable information. Most of the times there are just so many marketers who are just out there to blast you with promotions after promotions and no value is sent at all. I’m much more inclined to trust someone who over delivers with quality information.
